Tantia Medical College Begins Physiocon Raj-2025

Physiocon Raj-2025, the National Conference of the Physiological Society of India, commenced on Friday at Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital, and Research Center, located within Tantia University. The event featured discussions on various topics related to physiology.Vice Chairman of Tantia University, Dr. Mohit Tantia, highlighted the significance of managing stress effectively. He explained that stress can be both beneficial and harmful, depending on how it is handled. He provided examples of how excessive tension can affect the body and how stress management techniques can help individuals cope better.
The conference was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of Tantia University, Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Sachdeva, and Physiological Society of India's State President, Dr. Prasunpriya Nayak, along with Department Head Dr. Seema M. Sharma.Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Sachdeva emphasized that such conferences provide students with valuable opportunities for learning and innovation. He expressed his happiness that the event was taking place at Tantia University, benefiting students academically.Dr. Seema M. Sharma noted that traditional physiology education is evolving, with neurophysiology and other modern disciplines gaining prominence. She explained that research techniques and educational excellence would be crucial for students.The first day's lectures covered topics such as sleep physiology, biological time management, and the impact of changing time patterns. Dr. Sunil Kumar from AIIMS Jodhpur delivered insights into the importance of sleep and time management in human life.The event also featured short paper and poster presentations, where participants from different institutions, including Maulana Azad Medical College, AIIMS, and Jodhpur Medical College, presented their research.
