Malaria Awareness Program on World Malaria Day
On the occasion of World Malaria Day, the Department of Community Medicine of Tantia University organized an activity in the government school of Khayaliwala village. Told students about prevention of malaria through cleanliness demonstration. The objective of this program was to raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and mosquito control in preventing malaria. Deputy Director (Medical Education) Gurbhajan Singh said that the Head of the Department, Dr.
Dr. Amrut Swami and Dr. Manveer Singh, who were leading this activity on the instructions of Mohammad Ilyas, not only emphasized on proper hygiene and use of mosquito nets, but also advised the children on the importance of wearing full-sleeved clothes. Provided that they should not play in such a place where water remains stagnant. Students actively participated in it, demonstrating their commitment towards maintaining good health practices. Dr. Deepak Maurya was also present in the program.
