INFECTION CONTROL HANDBOOK RELEASED AT TANTIA MEDICAL COLLEGE

An Infection Control Handbook was released under the Department of Microbiology at Dr. S. S. Tantia Medical College Hospital and Research Center.
The handbook was unveiled by Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairperson, Tantia University. He described the initiative as commendable and said that the institution is giving significant attention to infection control. The handbook, prepared through the efforts of Dr. Charu Nair from the Infection Control Department along with the nursing staff, is expected to be highly beneficial for the institution.
On this occasion, Executive Director Dr. K. S. Sukhdev, Chief Administrative Officer of Jan Sewa Hospital Prof. Baljeet Kularia, Medical Superintendent Dr. H. S. Bindra, Dr. Charu Nair from the Microbiology Department, and the handbook’s authors Infection Control Nurses Sachin, Parmeshwar, and Sandeep were present. The handbook provides detailed information related to infection control and is expected to benefit not only the department staff but also professionals associated with the medical field. It also explains various methods of infection control.
