HEALTH CHECK-UP UNDER TANTIA MEDICAL COLLEGE’S FAMILY ADOPTION PROGRAM

Under the supervision of the Department of Community Medicine at Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, a health check-up camp was organized in the village of Netewala.
Deputy Director (Medical College) Gurubhajan Singh informed that the camp was held as part of the Family Adoption Program and saw active participation from MBBS students of the 2023 batch. These students conducted general health check-ups of all members of the adopted families and provided medical advice.
The families were also made aware of various health-related issues and preventive measures. Such health camps help MBBS students gain deeper knowledge about medical problems faced in rural areas and enhance their communication skills in the medical profession.
