BASIC COURSE IN MEDICAL EDUCATION HELD AT TANTIA MEDICAL COLLEGE

A Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) was organized at Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre in Sri Ganganagar under the guidance of the Regional Center of the National Medical Commission, Rohtak. The program aimed to familiarize medical faculty with recent changes in the medical curriculum and improve teaching methods. Experts delivered lectures on topics such as learning processes, principles of adult learning, learning objectives, and interactive teaching-learning methods.
During the concluding session, Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairperson of Tantia University, appreciated the initiative and said that organizing the BCME program at the university is highly commendable and reflects the dedicated efforts of the institution’s faculty in promoting quality medical education. The event was coordinated by the Medical Education Unit, with participation from several faculty members and coordinators who also delivered lectures on various academic topics.
